Estey, Aho, Dunbar and McLellan feature winners

Proctor,
MN - Darrell Nelson won his third Late Model main event of the season extending his point lead
in that division.
Kelly Estey won his second straight Modified feature as did Jim McLellan in the Pure Stock division. Ryan Aho was the Super Stock victor while Duane Dunbar won his second Midwest Modified feature of the season.
The feature event for the Modifieds was a caution filled affair with only 10 of 17 starters running at then end.
Kelly Estey took control after forcing his way by early leader Matt Sorenson and held off first Brad Hanson, then Darrell Nelson to take his second straight feature checkered flag at the speedway. Nelson had started from the inside of the 6th row and worked his way forward and, as other contenders fell by the wayside, made it to second and tried to take the win using the bottom but to no avail as Estey was able to take the high line to the checkered flag.
Nelson, Jayme Lautigar and Rick Cannata survived to finish in the top five.
Ryan Aho came from the inside of the third row to take the lead from pole sitter Eric Nelson and go on to take his first Super Stock feature of the season at the speedway. Paul Schultz moved up from the same row as Aho to battle with him but Aho was a bit stronger and held him off for the win. Kyle Peterlin, Nick Musel and Nelson were top five finishers.
Tim McMann was the pole sitter for the 20 lap Late Model feature but Ed Wakefield got the jump from the inside of row two taking the lead off turn four. Moving up from the third row to grab fourth from John Massingill was Darrell Nelson while Don Copp took second from McMann. Wakefield held a substantial lead but Copp began to reel him in as Nelson was third and coming on quickly. Copp ran down Wakefield and ducked to the inside for the lead at the mid point.
At that point it was Copp, Wakefield, Nelson, Ryan Aho and Massingill. Nelson moved to the high side and took second from Wakefield and set out in pursuit of Copp, caught him and made the pass for the win.
Copp, Wakefield, Aho and Jeff Provinzino followed. Duane Dunbar won his second Midwest Modified feature of the season. An infrequent visitor, Dunbar is a strong competitor when he does make an appearance. Using the low line around the speedway Dunbar came from the inside of row five worked his way past leader JJ Thompson for the lead. First time competitor Mickey Nosser moved up to take second and take a couple of shots at Dunbar for the win but was unable to make the pass. Bob Chesley broke free of a log jam for fourth to take third ahead of Mark Kangas and last weeks winner Jody
Bellefeuille.
Jim McLellan overcame an apparent fuel leak before the Pure Stock feature took the green flag to take his second consecutive feature event. Todd Monahan dogged McLellan for the rest of the race after McLellan had taken the point from early leader J P Aase. Nick Lavato came from the inside of row five to finish third while Aase held on to fourth and Glen Dammer finished fifth.
