MOM NATURE WINS PROCTOR FEATURES

It was a gloomy evening Sunday night at the Proctor
Speedway. Officials tried to get the
final night of racing in but Mother Nature would not co-oporate.
The threatening weather held down both the car and fan count but
racing started on time. First up was the Midwest Modified
division with three heats. The first heat went to Justin Jones
over last week's feature winner Monte Hall. Heat number two went
to Mark Anderson from the back of the pack to the win over Greg
Chesley. The final heat went to Terry Inman over Ken
Thompson.
Three heats of Super stocks were on tap with
the first going to Mike Bellefeuille over Dave Mass. The second
heat saw Ryan Aho take the win over Rick Rivord and Scott
Lawrence won the third heat in a runaway over Kevin Salin.
The two heats of Modifieds were won by Jason
Miller over Tom Turcotte and Don Copp over Clint Larson. The
single heat of Late Models went to Harry Hanson with Tim McMann
second.
Two of three scheduled Pure Stock heats were
won by Al Rapp over Rob Monahan and Jon McKinnon over Ricky
Davis. The rains came as the third heat was on the track and
officials called it a night. The final point standings were
unavailable at press time.
